Privacy Policy

Satya ("we", "us", "our") provides reflection and self-discovery through our website, our apps and our voice companion, Aatman. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the control you have. We never sell your personal information, and we never use your conversations to train public AI models.

We also keep a record of each consent you give, with its wording and time, so any charge can be traced to the exact words you agreed to.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run Satya, each bound to use it solely for that purpose: ElevenLabs (voice), Anthropic (the language model), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and sign-in), Meta (advertising measurement, where you arrived from an advert), Telnyx (SMS), Google (Play and email), and Railway (hosting). Content sent to the AI providers is used to answer you, not to train their public models. We announce sub-processor changes 30 days ahead. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including India, the United States and the EU, under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Safety

If Aatman hears that you may be in crisis it stops the reading, shows the helpline for your country, and pauses your minutes. Nothing about that moment is ever sent to an advertising platform or to any sales system.

Your rights and choices

Memory. See, edit and delete what Aatman remembers at Me → Memory, say "forget that" during a call, or switch memory off.
Saved card and top-ups. Remove your card at Me → Wallet; turn automatic top-ups off or set limits at Me → Top-ups.
Delete your account at Me → Delete my account. Live systems at once, backups within 30 days, tax records up to 7 years.
Access, correction, portability, objection, restriction and withdrawal of consent: write to privacy@satya.org or use the request form in the app. We answer within 30 days. In the EU or UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority.
California. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of "sharing" for advertising using the "Privacy choices" link in the app. We do not sell personal information and never discriminate for exercising these rights.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). You receive this notice in English and Hindi, may withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, and may write to our Grievance Officer at privacy@satya.org, who responds within 30 days; unresolved complaints may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.
Australia. This notice is given under the Australian Privacy Principles; you may complain to the OAIC.
Marketing. Marketing email is sent only after you say yes in the app or a receipt; every message has an unsubscribe link. SMS stops when you reply STOP.
Cookies and advertising pixels. In the EU, UK and Switzerland the Meta pixel loads only after you tap Accept on the banner. Elsewhere you can change your choice from the "Privacy choices" link.

Children

Satya is for adults aged 18 and over. Your date of birth confirms this; under-18 sign-ups are stopped and nothing is kept. If you believe a child has given us information, write to privacy@satya.org and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to operate the Service. If a breach ever affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we update the date and version above and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
